Community Hospital -Fairfax Invites Public to Ground Breaking Ceremony
Sixty years ago, community members realized a dream as they paved the way for a
hospital in Northwest Missouri.
On July 18, 2008, Community Hospital-Fairfax will follow in those footsteps as its
Board of Directors and staff break ground on a new facility.
Beverly White, President of the hospital’s Board of Directors said this event is
history in the making for the community.
“This hospital began with a core group of individuals who followed a dream and saw
that dream turn into reality. We now have the rare and wonderful opportunity
to ensure that the original dream will live on for the benefit of our neighbors,
friends, and families for many more generations to come.”
Community Hospital-Fairfax is inviting the public to witness the event at the Fairfax
city ball fields on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.
The celebration will include a ceremonial groundbreaking, special guests and a reception.
Myra Evans, Community Hospital-Fairfax CEO, encourages the public to come.
“This is a milestone event for the hospital and we want everyone to be a part of
this exciting step,” Evans said.
White agreed. “I would personally invite any and all who would like to share in
this dream to join us at the groundbreaking ceremony.”
